How It All Started
I started cutting grass with my brother when I was 12 years old. Back then we would walk from house to house, pushing our lawn mowers and carrying bags of freshly cut grass. Sometimes our mother would drive us to the location with the family mini van, and when my brother got older he was eventually able to do the driving.
In 2013, after my brother graduated high school and left for college, I took over the business as I finished high school. I can distinctly remember those long summer weeks when I returned to the days of pushing the mower, weed whacker, and gas until I could drive. I did not know then that this would turn into my livelihood.
After a few years passed, I graduated high school with high honors, but unlike many of my peers, I knew that going on to college was not for me. Not knowing what to do and certain that an office job would not suit my sensibilities– I pushed hard to get more lawns and landscaping work. I spent hours and hours researching trying to figure out how other companies made it work. I joined online business seminars and business networking groups to try and expand my outreach. I was hungry to learn and to succeed!
Fast forward two years and I have achieved my dream. My business has grown and flourished thanks to the good people of Northern Virginia. Nevertheless, I am still as eager as ever. Today, my crew and I have a combined experience of 100 years in Tree care, hardscapes, and home renovations. Together we hold a higher quality standard than other companies. I have top-notch professionals on staff and we hold ourselves to the highest bar. Whether a project is big or small I treat them all with the dignity and care as if it were my own home.
